Ok, I have big news today!

We (me, mom, katrina) are leaving and going to Illinois tomorrow(tues). One of my mom's black belt friends(bobby) died 2 days ago, and we are going to his funeral. After about a week, mom and katrina will be coming home, I am going to stay until after March.... I won't be able to post as much as I have been, or check my email, so if you need to talk to me than you can call me. (I haven't told Lauren yet so i'm waiting for a reaction)

Drake Bell and Josh Peck, stars of the hit Nickelodeon series nearly came to an end three weeks ago today when a guy fell asleep at the wheel and slammed head-on into Drake's vintage Mustang.

The Mustang, a 1966 model, of course had no air bags and no shoulder harness.
Suddenly, a week before their first TV movie, was set to debut, the highest-rated show among 'tweens - that awkwardly named group of 9- to 14-year-olds - was in serious trouble.
"I don't have kids, but I imagine the feeling I got when I got the call was very much like a parent's feeling," the show's creator, Dan Schneider, says.

"I knew his face had been cut pretty bad and his jaw had been smashed," he says. "But that stuff is cosmetic, and we all knew we could fix that.
"But he also had a slight neck fracture, and that was what was really scary.
"He easily could have been killed or found himself in a wheelchair."
"Drake & Josh Go To Hollywood" aired as scheduled last Friday to an audience of over 5 million viewers - the biggest thing on Nick in five years.

The series, now in its third season, is about two high-school classmates who know each other only slightly - until Drake's divorced mom and Josh's father started dating and eventually marry.
Suddenly the boys - Drake, the handsome, rock-band leader who gets all the girls, and Josh, the exuberant, portly tag-along - are stepbrothers and roommates.
The act is pure Dean Martin and
Jerry Lewis' and it still works. Both actors are 19 years old.


Schneider - a mini-mogul around Nickelodeon who has created a string of hit shows for the network, including and - built the series around their chemistry.
"Drake has the market cornered on cool," says Schneider.
Josh "has got this Jackie Gleason quality," he says. "Not only can Josh do the physical comedy and the pratfalls, but he can also sell a sophisticated joke and a touching moment."
As is often the case, Drake and Josh did not hit it off right away. But things improved when both were cast on
"I walked into 'The Amanda Show,'" remembers Josh. "And he said, 'You do comedy, huh?' I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'Tell me a joke.' So I told him a joke from my act, and he laughed hysterically. So I thought, 'He can't be all bad if he thinks I'm funny.'"

Now they're best pals. Josh was one of the first people at the hospital the day of the accident.
Drake is out of the hospital, recovering at home. He is sitting around and playing his guitar, says Schneider. But his jaw is wired shut, and he is restricted to a liquid diet until it heals.
Plastic surgeons will take care of the scar on his jaw after that, says the producer.
Production on Season 4 of "Drake & Josh" was halted, but is expected to resume in mid-March.

I am So So sorry about that. Here is the latest update on Drake Bell:

On Drake not being able to eat solid foods: "Drake is drinking from a straw, there are a lot of puree soups he seems to be ok with. He is drinking instant breakfasts, he is not crazy about them. The doctor said they would help keep his weight on. That is one of my concerns, he is not crazy about food as it is.....so drinking a hamburger out of a straw is out of the question. The doctor said it tastes like a hamburger.......Drake is still going to pass."

Drake's accident overall: "Drake was the one hit, I think that is a first?

He had just gotten into the left lane to turn (about 20 miles an hour) the driver that hit him somehow got into his lane and hit him head on at about 40 miles an hour (not certain) Drake and the passenger said it just happened so fast the details are vague. The Driver is an older man, everyone else was banged up Drake got the real hit. Drake is home now, the surgery went very well. He has about 10 weeks of recovery with his mouth wired shut.....he is alive........he should not be...........the bone in his neck was a hair line fracture.....it will heal. He is in pain, but is getting such loving care from so many people. I came home to get some clothes and spend an evening with my husband. I will go back and take him to the doctors tomorrow, I will keep you posted. Drake does not have a working computer (such a drag)! Thank you for your prayers." - Robin (Drake's mom)

Drake Bell, star of Nickelodeon hit Drake & Josh and the movie Yours, Mine and Ours, was involved in a head-on collision late Thursday that resulted in serious injuries. Driving his black 1966 Ford Mustang, Bell, 19, was sitting in the left-hand turning lane of the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, Calif., waiting to turn onto Sunset Boulevard, when he and his passenger were hit head-on by a Mercedes Benz. Shortly after the accident, his costar Josh Peck, 19, arrived to see Bell at Santa Monica Hospital, where he was cared for for a few hours before being transfered to UCLA Medical Center in neighboring Westwood. TMZ.com reports that Bell's injuries, which are not considered to be life-threatening, include a fractured neck, broken jaw, facial lacerations and several knocked-out teeth. Bell will reportedly undergo dental and plastic surgery soon. - Teen People

Happy New Year!!!!!!

Now the big thing about the new year is you have to eat black-eyed peas... Or that's what my mom says. If you don't you'll have bad luck for the rest of the year. (That explains my sister...) Anyway, Another thing is the (*NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS*), My top 5 is:

2. Get a driving permit
3. Start School (31/2. Start Dating, yea right)
