A group of six youngsters recently caused £50,000 worth of damage to the Hogwarts Express used in the Potter films. The group members, some as young as 10, broke into the West Coast Railway depot at the former Steamtown site in Carnforth, England, and destroyed the train's windows, using its emergency hammers.
Patricia Marshall, managing director of West Coast Railway, said, "It will take at least a month to repair, because so much damage was caused." - mugglenet.com
What do you think would be a good punishment for these kids? Magical or not? (be creative)

um....My family I am going through a really hard time now... It seems like I'm fighting back tears all the time now, I can't really explain everything now but.... I don't know how much longer i can go on living like this... I keep thinking 2 more years and I'll be away in collage... But I don't know if i can leave with my sister and my mother living this was without me. I am basicly the rock of this family, so I try so hard not to cry in front of my mom and my sister. My father is just ruining us.... My mom and him had a fight tonight. It was more of my mother talking and him not saying anything. He has been lying to us for more than a year now and he still blames us for everything that he is doing wrong that is makeing our life hell. I don't know what else to do. I'm shaking right now...Please pray for him, pray that God will open his eyes. Pray for my mom, that she will have the strangth to keep fighting to keep us together, and to give her peace. Please, please pray for my sister, that this will not change her. She needs to stay just as She is. And pray for me, because i don't know what else to do. Just give it to God, because I can't do this anymore.

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?
Why women can 't put on mascara with their mouth closed?
Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?
Why is "abbreviated" such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?
Why is it that to stop Windows 98, you have to click on "Start"?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?
When dog food is new and improved tasting, who tests it?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes?
Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Ok, it happened like an hour ago. I could not sleep, at all. Have you ever been almost asleep and you get a feeling in your back that makes you think that you need to pop it? That was me. Anyway, I though I would just go in the living room and rest there untill I was about to fall asleep. While I waited my mind was wandering, like I was awake but still dreaming, basicly staring into space. Then I heard my dad outside unlocking the door. But I didn't understand the noise untill he was almost done unlocking the last lock. So I got up and ran so has and as he opened the door i sliped and fell on my knees right where the hall was. I got up like I didn't fall at all, and I don't think my dad saw me but, when i got back to my room, my left knee was really really burning. Both of my knees had rug burns but the one on my left knees was very close to bleeding. So i went to the bathroom and got some bandaids with aloe on them and put it on my knee. PAIN!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF PAIN!!!!
So I climbed up into my bed and just layed there wide awake. If you guys don't know, my bed is a bunk bed type thing, but the bottom bunk is a desk. And, I like to have my fan on high all the time, and I cant put the blanket on my legs because that would hurt my legs...... So I realized that the bandaid wasn't really aiding me at all, because it was pulling at my wound. So i took it off. I still couldn't really do anything, so i got back on the floor and tryed to sit in a chair and sleep.... I didn't like that either. So here i am with nothing to do, with no hope of falling asleep tonight.....sob....
By the way, right now it is 4:48 in the morning.....

Genius Folks
You want it, you take it." For three days the fridge sat there without even one person looking twice at it. He eventually decided that people were too un-trusting of this deal. It looked to good to be true, so he changed the sign to read: "Fridge for sale $50." The next day someone stole it.
--------------------
One day I was walking down the beach with some friends when someone shouted...."Look at that dead bird!" Someone looked up at the sky and said... "where???"
~~~~~~~~
While looking at a house, my brother asked the real estate agent which direction was north because, he explained, he didn't want the sun waking him up every morning. She asked, "Does the sun rise in the north?" When my brother explained that the sun rises in the east, and has for sometime, she shook her head and said, "Oh, I don't keep up with that stuff."
~~~~~~~
I used to work in technical support for a 24/7 call center. One day I got a call from an individual who asked what hours the call center was open. I told him, "The number you dialed is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." He responded, "Is that Eastern or Pacific time?" Wanting to end the call quickly, I said, "Uh, Pacific".
~~~~~~~~
My colleague and I were eating our lunch in our cafeteria, when we overheard one of the administrative assistants talking about the sunburn she got on her weekend drive to the shore. She drove down in a convertible, but, "didn't think she'd get sunburned because the car was moving."
~~~~~~~
My sister has a lifesaving tool in her car it's designed to cut through a seat belt if she gets trapped. She keeps it in the trunk...
~~~~~~~~
My friends and I were on a beer run and noticed that the cases were discounted 10%. Since it was a big party, we bought 2 cases. The cashier multiplied 2 times 10% and gave us a 20% discount.... (maybe I should have bought 10 cases)
~~~~~~~
I couldn't find my luggage at the airport baggage area. So I went to the lost luggage office and told the woman there that my bags never showed up. She smiled and told me not to worry because she was a trained professional and I was in good hands. "Now," she asked me, "has your plane arrived yet?"...
~~~~~~
While working at a pizza parlor I observed a man ordering a small pizza to go. He appeared to be alone and the cook asked him if he would like it cut into 4 pieces or 6. He thought about it for some time before responding. "Just cut it into 4 pieces; I don't think I'm hungry enough to eat 6 pieces."
The first time we tryed to leave, it snowed 4 in.... All flights from Peoria to Chicago were not looking good for people on the stand by list, So we stayed another week.....
The second time we were going to leave, the day we set out to drive to the air port and fly away, it snowed 3 in... It was a diffrent kind of snow though, it was big and feathery and you couldn't see 1 foot in front of you. So we tryed for the next day. Yeah, we got to the airport, first step down!!! (clap clap clap)
Anyway we get past check out and onto the metal detectors.... For some reason this time they desided that our group that was flying(me, my mom, my sister, her 2 one year old kids) was special. So they went through ALL OF YOUR BAGS and the frisked us all down.... By this time, I wanted to go back to bed, I didn't want to deal with the airport.
So after we got all that done and we get to the gate, they tell us we only have room for 2 people that are on the stand by list. So my mom comes up with the great idea that me and bonny (found sister) would fly to Chicago with BOTH of the babies..... (Not a good Idea mom)
Anyway when the plane went up, jason fell asleep. I was kindof worried that he past out because he has a bad heart. But he woke up when we landed, Zoë was with Bonny in another seat in another row somewhere at the end of the plane.
(I know your thinking, when is this gonna end, we this is 2 days worth of bad traveling so I'm not done yet.)
Its a short flight from the Peoria to Chicago, like 25 minutes. So we get there and go to the gate to get to DFW. We get there in like 1 1/2 hours before we could check in so we got some food and something to give the babies and we sign in after waiting for an hour. We are 3rd to have signed in and we are 28 and 36 on the stand by list.... Apparently some chicago to dallas flights had been canceled earlier that day and the people that should have been on the other flights where on this one now..... Grrr Arrrgggg.........
So by this time my mom and my sister had just gotten here from peoria. I was looking like we wouldn't be able to get out of Chicago for days if we wanted to get to DFW. So we went to Albuquerque New Mexico. It was like 7 pm at this point so we stayed at the best best western in the world, woke up, went to old town, went shopping, ate, (did I mention it was like in the 70s there), got back to the best western, got our stuff, went to the air port, and GOT ON THE PLANE!!!!!! It was about time we got back. So we were back in Texas and the first thing I say when I get outside in that Texas air is, I want to go back to Albuquerque.....
- Achievement - You can do anything you set your mind to when you have vision, determination, and an endless supply of expendable labor.
- Adversity - That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
- Agony - Not all pain is gain.
- Ambition - The journey of a thousand miles sometimes ends very, very badly.
- Apathy - If we don't take care of the customer,maybe they'll stop bugging us.
- Arrogance - The best leaders inspire by example. When that's not an option, brute intimidation works pretty well, too.
- Beauty - If you're attractive enough on the outside, people will forgive you for being irritating to the core.
- Bitterness - Never be afraid to share your dreams with the world, because there's nothing the world loves more than the taste of really sweet dreams.
- Blame - The secret to success is knowing who to blame for your failures.
- Burnout - Attitudes are contagious. Mine might kill you.
- Change - It's a short trip from riding the waves of change to being torn apart by the jaws of defeat.
- Change (winds) - When the winds of change blow hard enough, the most trivial of things can become deadly projectiles.
- Cluelessness - There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
- Compromise - Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be
- Conformity - When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.
- Consulting - If you're not a part of the solution,there's good money to be made in prolonging the problem.
- Dare to Slack - When birds fly in the right formation, they need only exert half the effort. Even in nature, teamwork results in collective laziness.
- Defeat - For every winner, there are dozens of losers. Odds are you're one of them.
- Delusions - There is no greater joy than soaring high on the wings of your dreams, except maybe the joy of watching a dreamer who has nowhere to land but in the ocean of reality.
- Demotivation - Sometimes the best solution to morale problems is just to fire all of the unhappy people.
- Despair - It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.
- Destiny - You were meant for me. Perhaps as a punishment.
- Discovery - A company that will go to the ends of the Earth for its people will find it can hire them for about 10% of the cost of Americans.
- Disloyalty - There comes a time when every team must learn to make individual sacrifices.
- Disservice - It takes months to find a customer, but only seconds to lose one... the good news is that we should run out of them in no time.
- Do it Later - The early worm is for the birds.
- Doubt - In the battle between you and the world, bet on the world.
- Dreams - Dreams are like rainbows. Only idiots chase them.
- Dysfunction - The only consistent feature in all of your dissatisfying relationships is you.
- Effort - Hard work never killed anybody, but it is illegal in some places.
- Elitism - It's lonely at the top, but it's comforting to look down upon everyone at the bottom.
- Failure - When your best just isn't good enough.
- Fear - Until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore, you will not know the terror of being forever lost at sea.
- Flattery - If you want to get to the top, prepare to kiss a lot of the bottom.
- Futility - You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take, and, statistically speaking, 99% of the shots you do.
- Get To Work - You aren't being paid to believe in the power of your dreams.
- Goals - It's best to avoid standing directly between a competitive jerk and his goals.
- Hazards - There is an island of opportunity in the middle of every difficulty. Miss that, though, and you're pretty much doomed.
- Humiliation - The harder you try, the dumber you look.
- Idiocy - Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
- Ignorance - It's amazing how much easier it is for a team to work together when no one has any idea where they're going.
- Incompetence - When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.
- Indifference - It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.
- Individuality - Always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.
- Ineptitude - If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly.
- Insanity - It's difficult to comprehend how insane some people can be. Especially when you're insane.
- Inspiration - Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99% perspiration, which is why engineers sometimes smell really bad.
- Intimidation - No one can make you feel inferior without your consent, but you'd be a fool to withhold that from your superiors.
- Irresponsibility - No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood.
- Laziness - Success is a journey, not a destination. So stop running.
- Leaders - Leaders are like eagles. We don't have either of them here.
- Limitations - Until you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can walk.
- Loneliness - If you find yourself struggling with loneliness, you're not alone. And yet you are alone. So very alone.
- Losing - If at first you don't succeed, failure may be your style.
- Madness - Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"
- Mediocrity - It takes a lot less time and most people won't notice the difference until it's too late.
- Meetings - None of us is as dumb as all of us.
- Misfortune - While good fortune often eludes you, this kind never misses.
- Mistakes - It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.
- Motivation - If a pretty poster and a cute saying are all it takes to motivate you, you probably have a very easy job. The kind robots will be doing soon.
- Nepotism - We promote family values here - almost as often as we promote family members.
- Overconfidence - Before you attempt to beat the odds, be sure you could survive the odds beating you.
- Pessimism - Every dark cloud has a silver lining, but lightning kills hundreds of people each year who are trying to find it.
- Persistence - It's over, man. Let her go.
- Planning - Much work remains to be done before we can announce our total failure to make any progress.
- Potential - Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up.
- Power - Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But it rocks absolutely, too.
- Pressure - It can turn a lump of coal into a flawless diamond, or an average person into a perfect basketcase.
- Pretension - The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious.
- Problems - No matter how great and destructive your problems may seem now, remember, you've probably only seen the tip of them
- Procrastination - Hard work often pays off after time, but laziness always pays off now.
- Quality - The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.
- Regret - It hurts to admit when you make mistakes - but when they're big enough, the pain only lasts a second.
- Retirement - Because you've given so much of yourself to the Company that you don't have anything left we can use.
- Risks - If you never try anything new, you'll miss out on many of life's great disappointments.
- Sacrifice - Your role may be thankless, but if you're willing to give it your all, you just might bring success to those who outlast you.
- Sacrifice (Temple) - All we ask here is that you give us your heart.
- Strife - As long as we have each other, we'll never run out of problems.
- Stupidity - Quitters never win, winners never quit, but those who never win AND never quit are idiots.
- Success - Some people dream of success, while other people live to crush those dreams.
- Teamwork - A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
- Trouble - Luck can't last a lifetime unless you die young.
- Underachievement - The tallest blade of grass is the first to be cut by the lawnmower.
- Wishes - When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteor.
- Worth - Just because you're necessary doesn't mean you're important
He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting."
-----------------------------------
You: "I also think the war in Iraq in a pointless conflict, and there is no way in hell for us to "win", because the fact that big bad America rolls in is not going to change the way these people think."
-----------------------------------
Me: If we haven't made and change to help their lives, we wouldn't still be there. If America would stop listening to all of these stuped negitive opinions, of the people on the news and listen to their own opinion on what is right and wrong.... we would have alot less people wearing the 'Don't support our troops' shirts. George Bush is doing what needs to be done. And if it wasn't right or wasn't working we wouldn't be having people join the army right now. While you are saying 'Bush is an incompetent dumbass', Bush is to busy to care because he is fighting this war to change peoples lives. What are you doing....
----------
If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just family by my side,
I'd thank my God above to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away!
And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.!!!!
AMEN.
I have been to the biggest flea market in the world this weekend. It was huge and I got all my christmas shopping done!!! Its First Monday in Canton Texas. Its very near to where Shanna-Kaye and her family are moving to. We went up there thursday to a time share thing that my friend Bonny owns. It was a cabin, and it was sooo much fun. The best part of the cabin was that there was a huge bath tub with jets. It was just awsome! The whole weekend was awsome, even though it started out as not so good.
Basicly before we were going to leave, we found out that the bank spent all our money. So we decided we couldn't go, then Bonnys husband Justin called and asked if it was ok that I would go with Bonny. Just me. I kindof didn't want to because I wanted my mom to go also. I try and make sure that what ever my mom wants to do to bring her some joy in her life, I do everything in my power to make it happen. If she wants to go to a singing thats like 2 hours away, I get on her side and encoarage her to go and do it. She needs as much joy as she can get. So, I went with Bonny and we stayed the night at the cabin, Then we woke up and went to First Monday. About 2 hours into it, my mom calls and says that she is about 12 minutes away, and that katrina was with her. So she did get to go with us and it was sooo much fun.
We came back saturday night, my mom and katrina left about 2 hours before Bonny and I because katrina wasn't feeling well. We believed her because my mom and I had just gotten the same bug. Good thing we listened to her to, she threw up when she got home. Anyway, Bonny and I were walking around in The Mountain area and we saw this little shop that sold clothes but not anykind of clothes. Old clothes like 80s and older stuff. It was SOOOOO GREAT!!! I bought a brown long sleeved shirt that looked like a cowgirl or female indian would wear. I bought it and wore it Sunday and I didn't recive one complament, so it must have looked bad or something, but I don't care because I love the shirt.
Well I got to go now.
See Ya L8er.
Last Wednesday I went to a Motley Crue and Aerosmith concert. I know what your thinking, 'WOW!!'. I know, that's what I though when I got invited. Ok, Let me tell you how it all started. Last weekend I went camping with some people from church. My friend Deondra was one of them, She was there Saturday. Anyway, I had brought my guitar so I was playing it and sometimes Deondra was playing it, and I was wearing my Aerosmith t-shirt and she told me that she and her boyfriend and his friend were going to this concert, then she said she had an extra ticket if I wanted to go. I said 'YES' of coarse..... So I went to the concert! Motley Crue came up first and they aren't really my thing so I didn't really much care for them. Then they left and we had a break. I sent a text to Reagan because I forgot to tell him I was going, becaue it all happened so fast I didn't really have time to get extremely excited like I was for Night Ranger and Styx concerts last year (my first post). So he text back and said 'awesome' and 'Don't let Steven Tyler eat you'. (weird). So Then Aerosmith came on and they were AWESOMELY GREAT, BACODULY FLAVIORABLE, ETC.... It was the best rock show I have ever been to!!! I only reconized afew of the songs. Here they are: Dream On, Baby Please Don't Go, Cryin', Draw The Line, Sweet Emotion, and Walk This Way. All in All it was amazing! Steven Tyler still had his mike stand with all of the scarves and Joe Perry is still one of the coolest guitar players ever. At the end of Walk this way after the encore, Joe Perry threw his guitar on the ground, took his shirt off, started hitting the fret board of the guitar with the shirt, put the shirt on his shoulders, put his guitar back on, ran to the drum set, layed back on it, was still playing his guitar, and the drummer finally had to push him off his drums. Man, I got to tell you Joe Perry might be as old as my grandfather, but he is still hott! Oh, and did I mention thatit was like 46 degrees plus very strong winds........ So yeah it was cold. Anyway that's all I have to say for now. I'm going to Arkansas for Thanksgiving so I don't think I will be able to post for a while. But before I go here are some pictures of the madness that was the concert that I went to. Tell me what you think.
So TTFN,
I went to Bonny and Justins house tonight because their neiborhood is the best place ever for trick-or-treating!!! I didn't go though, I had to hand out candy. (We ran out twice!) It was Jason and Zoë's first Halloween!!!! They went as Superman and SuperGirl. If Bonny is reading this, I would like you to send me the pictures from tonight that you took so I can post them here, asap.(Thanks)
I was going to not dress-up but about 10 minutes before we had to leave, I put on the pirate medallion I have and I braided me hair differently, so I decided to wear my moms Scarborough Fair costume and go as Elizabeth Swann.... Tell me what you think considering I came up with it in 10 minutes.
